A Record Year for the WCB
April 15, 2008   The WCB's Annual Report, tabled today in the legislature, shows a $130 million operating surplus. This is the WCB's fourth consecutive operating surplus and the largest in its history. Full Story

Day of Mourning
April 10, 2008   Day of Mourning memorial services will be held across Canada on April 28 to honour workers who were seriously injured, killed on the job or who died of conditions or diseases associated with their work during the past year. As well as mourning those workers who have died, the day draws attention to the need for safety for the living. Full Story

8.2% Reduction in 2008 WCB Average Premium Rate Approved
