Is the information that you gather kept private and secure?
Your data is encrypted once you click the "Complete Interview" button. The Saskatchewan WCB will keep all information you provide during your online interview private and secure.
How much time will it take to finish an online interview?
Most people take approximately 20 minutes to complete the interview. It all depends on how much information you want to share with us.
Am I being timed while I complete my interview?
No. Your online interview is not timed.
Can I come back and complete my application at a later date/time?
No. For your security and privacy, your information is not saved in the interview application form until you click the "Complete Interview" button. If you leave the online interview prior to clicking that button, you will have to fill in all information again.
Am I able to go back to earlier pages and change my answers before I complete my online interview?
Yes. You can go back and change your answers as long as you have not clicked the "Complete Interview" button on the last page.
On the application form, it asks if I will provide a criminal record check. If I object, will WCB consider my online interview anyway?
No. Your application will not be considered. All employees who work at the WCB must provide a criminal record check as a condition of their employment.
What happens if I don't answer all the questions in the online interview?
Applications that have all questions answered will be considered first. If you don't answer all questions, you application may be rejected.
Do I have to enter in all of my information again if I apply for another job?
No. At the end of your online interview, you have the option of saving your profile through the Hiring Smart Passport:
- Check the box beside the phrase "Save your interview in a Hiring Smart Passport"
- Enter a password
- Click on the "Complete Interview" button
If you see another job you wish to apply for, you can open up your Hiring Smart Passport when you start your online interview for that job.
