The Workers' Compensation Act, 1979, together with the General Regulations and Exclusions, comprise the legislation under which the
Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board operates.
The Act
This legislation provides compensation to workers for injuries sustained in the course of their employment.
Regulations
General Regulations, 1985 govern the administration of a compensation system on behalf of workers and employers,
and together with the Workers' Compensation Act 1979 and Exclusions comprise the legislation under which the Saskatchewan
Workers' Compensation Board operates.
Exclusions
A listing of industries and occupations that are excluded from the provision of the Act and therefore do not pay premiums
to the WCB and are not eligible for benefits.
