Although the WCB operates at arm's length from the provincial government, it is accountable to stakeholders in
numerous ways. Indeed, many of the WCB's events listed here are unique in Canada, providing stakeholders opportunities
to meet with key decision makers.

Highlights
Annual General Meeting
The WCB was the first in Canada to hold annual public meetings starting in 1995. Now a legislated event (section 22.2 of
the
Workers' Compensation General Regulations),
it supports the organization's dedication to openness and accountability by providing an overview of the WCB's operations. This year's Annual General Meetings
were held in Saskatoon on Monday May 11, and in Regina Tuesday, May 12.
Highlights and Question and Answers are now available.
Employer Premium Consultation
This annual fall process is spread over two to three weeks. Employer groups and associations are invited to discuss
the WCB's projections for the following year's premiums.
Committee of Review
A panel made up of equal employer and worker representation reviews the WCB every four years, as required by
legislation (section 162 of the
Workers' Compensation Act).
The Report of the 2006 Committee of Review Parts
One and
Two
