WCB Claimant Sentenced in Fraud Conviction

A former autobody repairman was sentenced January 24, 2014 in Melfort Provincial Court for defrauding the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) of $26,692.23. The former claimant pled guilty to going back to work while still receiving income replacement. He was sentenced to an 18 month Conditional Sentence and ordered to reimburse the WCB.
