Operational Details
The provision of a water treatment plant to provide water for drinking, irrigation or other uses.

Within the plant there are extensive requirements for compressed air to operate the many pneumatic controls and valves. Kitec pipe is used instead of copper, because it does not have to be coated, and this pipe is used to network the compressed air lines in the plant. With few joints and continuous coil piping, it means less maintenance and fewer breakdowns in the plant.

Pipe or water lines include: distribution lines, transmission pipe, force mains, and fire protection lines.

 Workers include administrators, plant operators and maintenance staff. Plumber and pipefitters, electricians, instrumentation mechanics are some of the tradecrafts involved.
