Harness shop operators sell remanufactured harness goods such as bridles, reins, traces, horse collars, saddles and other leather products used to fit out a horse, bull, goat or other livestock.

The harness or saddle is assembled using tacks, ties, sewn sections, and special glues or adhesives. The leather products are then polished and oiled and made ready for sale. Pre- manufactured products can also include earing apparel as well as cowboy boots, raincoats and hats.
