Implement wholesalers are usually factory representative companies who are distribution outlets for products, often manufactured out of province. Examples include: Allis Chalmers, John Deere, Case Tractor, Komatsu etc.

No servicing is done by these employers, instead the implements may be stored at their facility and field sales representatives call on dealers or prospective retail outlets to sell their product. In some cases, arrangements may be made where the retail outlet does not have a full dealership, but may be give permission to sell a product line on a limited basis.
