Frame straightening is a process that involves using a machine on which the vehicle is placed and through adjusting the components, the frame is straightened. Vehicles involved in accidents are the most likely candidates for this service.

Wheel alignments are necessary to extend tire life, to stretch fuel mileage, and for better road handling. A wheel alignment also cuts down on road noise, and generally ensures safer driving. Two and Four wheel alignments are done.

Wheel alignment includes using electronic testing equipment to make a proper diagnosis. Wheel alignments of today are done by using computers. Usually these same shops will also balance the tires and repair or replace shocks or struts that interfere with the ability to accurately align the wheels.

The installation of front end suspension components may be necessary to complete the job. However, these activities may be undertaken by automotive and farm implement dealers, service stations and garages, but only as part of their overall operations.
