Operational Details
Paraffin wax build up results from the oil cooling as it reaches the surface. As it becomes cooler, the paraffin in the oil solidifies, and it builds up in the equipment and/or wellbore.

Hot oil treaters, trucked mounted equipment that pumps hot oil or chemicals down the well, dissolves the wax build up. Chemicals are also used to clear contaminants.
