Description

Operational Details
Cement that has been quarried, mined, and processed, using proper additives and having the necessary characteristics to be used for a variety of applications, is transported to Saskatchewan where it is further processed.

The manufacturing of pre-mixed dry and wet cement includes mixing ingredients such as refined cement, lime, calcium carbonate, sand, with bonding and colouring agents for building construction use. Once agitated or mixed in a hopper or drum, the product is augured to a load out area where the product is bagged, or bulk shipped to the customers.

Wet products go through much of the same process as dry cement, however, in this case water is added and the final product is shipped in pails or plastic lined containers.

Equipment used include hoppers, drums, augers, agitators baggers, and other packaging equipment and forklifts.
